Archery Scoring System

Score tracking is often the most demanding part of running an archery competition. From rain-damaged paper scorecards and manual calculation errors to long delays while participants wait for elimination brackets, traditional methods create unnecessary stress. Archeris solves these field bottlenecks with a digital scoring platform that is fast, accurate, and completely automated.

1. Challenges of Manual Field Scoring

In traditional tournaments, field volunteers must physically collect paper scorecards after every few ends, walk them back to the secretariat desk, and retype every number into a spreadsheet. This manual process takes hours, leads to data entry mistakes, and causes disputes among competitors.

Because organizers must calculate rankings and tie-breakers by hand before drawing elimination trees, event schedules often run late into the evening.

2. Fast Mobile Scoring at Target Butts

Archeris simplifies how judges and archers record arrow values right at the target line:

• Zero App Installation: Field scorekeepers or athletes simply open their mobile phone browser and enter a 5-character target access code.
• Sunlight-Friendly Interface: Large, high-contrast touch buttons allow quick arrow value logging even in bright outdoor sunlight.
• Automatic Data Sync: Scores are instantly saved and locked once an end is approved, preventing lost score sheets or illegible handwriting.

3. Automated Rankings & Match Brackets

The moment the final qualification end is submitted, Archeris calculates the complete ranking order and tie-breakers (10s and Xs count) in seconds. Organizers no longer need to spend time sorting spreadsheets or double-checking math.

The platform immediately generates head-to-head elimination match brackets, automatically applying the Set Play System for Recurve and Barebow or Cumulative Scoring for Compound, complete with official seeding byes.

4. Real-Time Live Leaderboards for Everyone

Every arrow recorded at the target line updates the public live leaderboard instantly. Archers, coaches in contingent tents, and spectators at home can follow rank standings in real time without crowding physical notice boards.

When the tournament wraps up, organizers can download verified PDF scorebooks and distribute official digital certificates in one click.
