Team & Mixed Team Standings Determination

In World Archery tournament standards, team event categories do not shoot separate qualification rounds. Instead, official Team (Beregu) and Mixed Team (Beregu Campuran) rankings are calculated automatically by aggregating the scores shot by individual club archers during their respective individual qualification sessions.

1. How Team Qualification Scoring Works

Archeris automates the entire team calculation process:

• Archers shoot their individual qualification round as usual (e.g. 72 arrows).
• The system groups archers belonging to the same club or delegation within the same bow division and age group.
• Team composite scores are calculated in real-time as individual arrow scores are recorded on the field.

This means no separate team shooting round is needed. The scorekeepers simply record individual arrow values, and the team standings build themselves automatically in the background.

2. Standard Team Standings (Top 3 Club Archers)

For standard gender-based team events (e.g., Recurve Men Team, Compound Women Team):

• Roster Requirement: Minimum of 3 archers from the same club registered in that category.
• Score Calculation: The system sums the qualification scores of the top 3 highest-scoring archers from that club:

Team Total Score = Archer 1 Score + Archer 2 Score + Archer 3 Score
Team 10s Total = Archer 1 (10s) + Archer 2 (10s) + Archer 3 (10s)
Team Xs Total  = Archer 1 (Xs)  + Archer 2 (Xs)  + Archer 3 (Xs)

If a club registers more than 3 archers in the same category, only the top 3 individual scores are selected. The other archers receive their individual ranking as normal.

3. Mixed Team Standings (Top Male + Top Female)

For Mixed Team events (e.g., Recurve Mixed Team, Barebow Mixed Team):

• Roster Requirement: At least 1 male archer and 1 female archer from the same club competing in the same bow division and age bracket.
• Score Calculation: The system combines the score of the highest-ranking male archer and the highest-ranking female archer from that club:

Mixed Team Total = Top Male Score + Top Female Score
Mixed Team 10s   = Top Male 10s   + Top Female 10s
Mixed Team Xs    = Top Male Xs    + Top Female Xs

The mixed team pairing is automatic. Organizers do not need to pre-declare pairings before the qualification round.

4. Running Team Synchronization in Dashboard

To compile and sync team rosters in the organizer workspace:

1. Navigate to Organizer Dashboard > Elimination > Team Sync.
2. Select the target category (e.g. Recurve Men Team or Compound Mixed Team).
3. Click Synchronize Teams (Sinkronisasi Tim).
4. The system scans all registered club athletes, calculates composite team scores, and builds official team entries automatically.

Run synchronization after qualification is fully finalized for complete standings.

5. Ranking Order & Tie-Break Hierarchy

Team rankings on the official leaderboard are determined by:

1. Highest Cumulative Team Score (Max 2,160 pts for 3-archer team; Max 1,440 pts for Mixed team).
2. Highest Combined 10s Count.
3. Highest Combined Xs Count.

6. Advancing Teams to Elimination Brackets

Once team qualification standings are synchronized and finalized:

• Top ranked teams are automatically seeded into the Team Elimination Brackets (e.g., Seed 1 vs Seed 8, Seed 2 vs Seed 7).
• If byes are needed (e.g., 6 teams in an 8-team bracket), the top 2 ranked teams automatically receive first-round byes into the semifinals.

Once brackets are generated, scorekeepers record match arrows on the field and the system advances winners round by round.
